Dr. “Dave” Andrzejewski is thrilled to be back in Buffalo and loves that the city has been revived!
His interest in practice is surgery, dentistry, and general medicine. As for his own pets at home, you are likely to find an aquarium or two, turtles, birds, and dogs. His most beloved dog “Senorita Taza de Vida”, Vida for short, was a Teacup Chihuahua.
Dr. Dave is a local, born into a large family in Cheektowaga, and is a graduate of Lancaster High. While growing up his family had a menagerie of pets including dogs, small pocket pets, fish, reptiles, and birds. This is where his love affair with animals began. During his undergraduate studies at Iowa State University, he received recognition in the top 2% of the university. He continued on at Iowa State University at the College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 1983 as the youngest person in his class. For the majority of his career, he has practiced in Florida where at one point he had an aviary with a population of over 150 small birds!
When he is not with family or friends you can find him on his snowboard or wakeboard depending on the time of year. He also enjoys live theater and music as well as hiking and kayaking.
