Jannelle is one of our newest Veterinary Technicians. She was born in San Luis Obispo, CA but grew up in Rochester, NY. She is one of six kids, having 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She graduated from Medaille College in 2019 as a dual major in both Biology and Veterinary Technology with a minor in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. While attending the college here in Buffalo, she was a member of the tennis team and the captain of the Mavericks cheerleading team. For as long as Jannelle can remember she has had a love for animals. Jannelle entered the field in 2014, she started in a small animal general practice. She then transferred to a small animal surgery specialty clinic before joining Buffalo Small Animal Hospital. Jannelle enjoys her notable volunteer work, she recently traveled with Mission Rabies to Mozambique, Africa in November 2022 bringing aid to the impoverished areas. In her spare time when she is not surrounded by animals, she enjoys new hobbies like going to the gym, playing tennis, and traveling. She owns a dog living back home with her parents named Brock. Currently she has an orange Domestic Shorthair named Sebastian. Jannelle is hoping to foster with the SPCA in the future.
